Heather 

Heather is our office manager and jack of all trades, and has been with us since 2009, and has been working in the veterinary field for over 30 years, and with that experience has an excellent skill set, and is extremely valuable to our clinic.  Heather and her husband have a beautiful acreage where they raise their family and have horses, cats and a dog.  Their fur babies consist of her dog, "Boone" as well as their cat, "Peddi". 

Allysha Wilson, RVT

Allysha is one of our incredibly valuable Veterinary Technologists, and graduated from Douglas College in 2016, and it's been great having her here since she graduated.  She was raised on Vancouver Island, and lives here with her husband Tyler and their beloved cats Nero and Magnus.  She loves all animals, but especially cats, and any of our feline patients get extra TLC from her, though all animals receive incredible care at her hands.  Outside of work she enjoys video games, comics and anime.  

Jess, RAHT

Jessica came on board in 2024 after ten years as a Vet Tech. She grew up in Alberta where she fell in love with VetMed after volunteering at the GP SPCA. Then she graduated from the Animal Health Technology Program at GPRC Fairview. She moved to Vancouver Island in 2016 and never looked back. She enjoys the weather, whether rain or shine to explore and enjoy what the island has to offer. Jessica and her kids enjoy going on walks or spending time at the beach looking for treasures or spending quiet time at home with their cats: Oliver and Maple. 

Cindy, RAHT (Locum)

Cindy is one of our awesome Animal Health Technologists.  She has been a RAHT for over 25 years, and brings an incredibly wide range of skills and excellent patient care to our team. Cindy has been with us since January 2012, and is a great asset at the clinic! She lives with her husband and son in Duncan as well as a Brittany Bassett named "Reggie".  

Winona

Winona started working in 2017 as a receptionist/veterinary assistant.  She has been another great addition to our team, and is a huge animal lover (as we all are) with a very kind nature.  She lives on a small hobby farm in Shawnigan Lake with her husband and their three dogs, four cats, chickens and horses.  

Julia

Originally from BC, Julia moved to Duncan from the mainland. Julia has been working in vet med for many years. She has always wanted to work with animals. In her spare time, Julia loves to be exploring the great outdoors with her happy heeler Grizz. 

Morgan

Morgan has been working at our clinic as part of our client care/veterinary assistant team since 2022.   Prior to working here, Morgan worked in the human healthcare field for a number of years.   Morgan lives in the Cowichan Valley with her daughter and beloved pets. 

Hailey

Hailey has been part of our team acting in the role of client care and veterinary assistant since 2023, but has worked in the veterinary industry for a number of years, and we're happy to have her experience and skills in our practice.
