Cindy Acheson, RAHT

Cindy is one of our Animal Health Technologists.  She has been a RAHT for over 25 years, and brings a wide range of skills and excellent patient care to our team. Cindy has been with us since January 2012, and is a great asset at the clinic! She lives with her husband and son in Duncan as well as a terrier cross named "Diggity".

Heather Mayhew

Heather has been with us since 2009, and has been working in the veterinary field for over 20 years, and with that experience has an excellent skill set, and is very valuable to our clinic.  Heather and her husband have a beautiful acreage where they raise their family and have horses, dogs and cats.  Their fur babies consist of an Italian Maremma "Zena", two Border Collies "Angus" and "Peaka" as well as their two cats "Pedi" and "Phil".

Heidi Elley, RAHT

Heidi is an Animal Health Technologist and joined us in 2012, when she moved from Alberta.  She works part time and has been a very valued member of the team.  She lives with her husband, son and daughter in Chemainus, and her small mixed breed dog "Cooper".

Allysha Barton, RVT

Allysha is our third Veterinary Technologist, and graduated from Douglas College in 2016, and it's been great having her here since she graduated.  She was raised on Vancouver Island, and lives here with her boyfriend Tyler and their beloved cat Julius.  She loves all animals, but especially cats, and any of our feline patients get extra TLC from her.  Outside of work she enjoys video games, comics and anime.

Winona Billings

Winona started working in 2017 as a receptionist/veterinary assistant.  She has been another great addition to our team, and is a huge animal lover (as we all are) with a very kind nature.  She lives on a small hobby farm in Shawnigan Lake with her husband, two daughters, and their two dogs, four cats, chickens and horses.

Cristina Posey

Cristina also started working in 2017 as a receptionist/veterinary assistant.  She lives in Chemainus with her husband and young son, and dogs, cats and rabbits.  Cristina has bred and showed rabbits since a young age.  She brings her extensive animal background and kind nature to be another much valued member of the team.
